| no partners | | | I found a place to park where 117 intersects with a closed road. Hike starts out flat you cross a couple of old roads and then hop the fence. I stuck the landing. A little while later it gets steep. As I approached the top, I heard a familiar sound but couldn't remember from where. A moment later I saw a hummingbird that was sucking all the oxygen from the mountain. Then all of a sudden, I flush a Blue Grouse which gets my heart beating faster than it already was. Nice hike with stimulating conversation. When I got to the bottom, I noticed where an Elk cut the wire |
