Parked in the Day use are at the end of the Mingus road, paid my $5 for parking, and headed up to the Fire tower. Short hike overall, the actual lookout tower and cabin are closed to the public currently. In fact the gate is locked up and you can't get near them. After that headed over to the lake, it was nice and peaceful there. [ youtube video ]
