I tried to take an old friend on a hike I always enjoy. Problem is, he's not a hiker... so, we only made it maybe 2.5 miles out and had to turn around and head back to the car. Started at the 260 TH and immediately climbed up onto the rim. By the time we hit the second or third tourist bench... he tapped out. Don't know why I continue to take my non-hiker friends out hiking... (Note to self: Stop doing that!) Still a great day with a good friend!
