Wanted to end my fall break with a bang, so I decided to do some exploring. Really nice hike that left me pretty worn out at the end. The drive to the trailhead took me about 45 minutes from my house in central Phoenix. Lots of big manly trucks with huge tires all over the place. Gave me truck envy... but not really. Beware, the area is popular for doing manly driving over rocks and up big hills, then setting up trash, shooting holes in it and leaving it laying around.
