This was my first lone overnighter. I found out last week that I had Monday off, so I decided to drive up to the Pinalenos and do an overnight backpack. Hiked in and camped in a small, tucked away campsite above the falls near some fresh looking bear scat. Fell asleep to the roar of the falls below me under a clear sky. Hiked out this morning and got to use my new water filter. Delicious!
