Cool hike . You lose your elevation in the beginning so you will have a little climb at the finish. Not to far into the hike Linda pointed out a couple partial walls from an old bridge.From there it’s pretty flat until you close in on the Onyx bridge. Then up a little draw between some small hills. Cool tree. I think I enjoyed the added forest “ side trip more and the trees before the bridge. Really like the petrified trees in this area and it would be fun to do some more exploring!! The hike back went good and the climb out wasn’t horrible. Enjoyable start to our visit to PFNP! Thanks Linda, like HAZ, you rock!!
