I started this hike when it was just light enough to see from the Meridian trailhead. 1.4 miles to the Bulldog saddle with half of that pretty rocky. Once over the saddle it gets better as you drop down. I thought the turn towards Pass Mountain would be sooner than it was. It was about .8 miles. From there it was another.8 to Pass Mountain saddle with pretty nice grade. 2 more miles down Pass Mountain trail and back to the car. Nice morning!!
