Finally hit the Black Hills Byway after all these years!
Very scenic, pleasant drive.
The Old Safford Bridge area is a lovely spot and is severely under-birded.
Owl Creek Campground is awesome - I was immediately sad that I only planned a day trip. Next time I'll bring camping gear and a floatie to take advantage of the river. Only three sites were occupied, and one departed while I was at the bridge.
