We took a 12 person inflatable, 6 miles from Knudson Cove to the NW side of Betton Island in the Tongass National Forest. The easy hike took us through the rainforest that sees 200 inches of rain yearly. The guide pointed out the various conifers and plant life on the island. She had a weird fascination with the 4" long Banana Slugs. |
