It's been a while since I spent a night outside and since I've been missing out on all the monsoon rain, I decided to head up to the rim for a couple of days to breathe some fresh cool air and increase my chances of rain.

With storm chances higher after 11am as typical, I opted to enjoy my lake activities early in the day. There was another truck at the lake when I arrived, but it was just leaving and I got to enjoy a peaceful couple of hours on the water with nary another soul around.
