I used my snowshoes from top to bottom. A little tricky with all the boulders, but it worked. The snow on top was deep. Unless it has drifted into the spots I was walking it seems like Snowbowl should have almost waste deep snow. It was post holing most of the way and I ended up being out an hour longer than I planned for. I came down after dark and it was pretty cool. The cloud deck was around 8800' and once I broke through it I had a great view of the mall and Doney Park.
