Drove up to Flagstaff to buy some aspens and hike the Grandview Trail, but ran low on time, so I decided to hike Elden instead. Aspens were changing high on the peak, and a bit of snow lingered on north facing slopes. Took Fatmans Loop on the way back. Hit Haistings and Bookmans, had dinner, then decided to camp out overnight in order to hike the Grandview Trail the next morning. Grabbed some necessities at Walfart and headed out on highway 180 for the Grand Canyon late that night. Took some night photos of the SF Peaks and the Grand Canyon by moonlight. Found a nice campsite just outside of GC National Park, then caught a few hours of sleep. A very enjoyable hike and road trip.
