Previously when we went to Pass Mountain, we climbed to the summit, then circled back to the trailhead in a lollipop route. This time we decided to do the full circumference. Nice, simple, well-maintained trail. It's moderately rocky in the southeast aspect, but otherwise pretty smooth. We started just after the rainfall. Went clockwise. Overcast but beautiful views the entire way. Great views of the Goldfields to the east, and the Superstitions off in the distance. The temperature was great for me. Constant barrage of gunfire from the nearby shooting range throughout the first 2 miles, but didn't hear it after reaching the north part of the trail. Saw maybe 12 other hikers the entire way and jumped out the way of 3 mountain bikers. This is a nice, straightforward, pleasant trail that is great for bringing visitors.
