Checking off Warren’s 100 Hikes in western Arizona this week, this was next on my list. This was a good desert mountain hike and a consistent steady incline all the way like Mt. Ord between Mesa and Payson. Saw very few people all day, though a lot of Razr riders at the top. Little bit of history thrown in too, though most of the interpretive signs are faded from readability due to sun and rain.lunch at a picnic table up top then back down again. Warm day out there, even for February… can’t imagine doing that in the summer.
