| no partners | | After spending my weekdays for all of 2020 looking for work, I decided to celebrate finally landing a full time job again this week by picking a hike that my out of shape body would struggle a little with. Wrightson did not disappoint!
Arrived at 9am with a friend. It was sprinkling a little but quickly stopped, and was sunny the rest of the day. Went up Super Trail, did the ring around Wrightson, exiting at Baldy Saddle long enough to bag the peak, then back around the rest of the ring to Josephine Saddle and down Old Baldy Trail. Lots more bugs today above 8500 feet than normal, but none of them were the biting kind. We just inhaled a little extra protein!
Ended the hike in JJiii fashion, craving a slurpee. Today the sour apple one was too tempting to pass up! |
