I had plans for early in the evening, so I had to pick something closer to home. Hadn't been out to Marcus Landslide in a while.

Took the long way out from McDowell Mountain Park and the Pemberton Trail, the took the Tonto Tank Trail back. Chilly at the start, then pleasantly cool from the cloud cover. Very green everywhere.

It's been over 10 years I think since I did this trail, I don't remember all the spur trails on the loop to the interpretive points. Submarine Rock was interesting. Spooky to stand under it next to the other rock keeping it from crushing you.

Didn't see any wildlife, lots of bikes along the way and most hikers out by the landslide. Made pretty good time even with spending some extra time out there checking things out.
