| no partners | | | Searching for a few of Forrest and Weir's routes that were listed in a February, 1971 Arizona Mountaineering Club newsletter. I think I've identified the Cobra, but Begging Dog still eludes me. I didn't see any fixed hardware, so I'm assuming these are trad climbs with simul-raps. Wandering through this hoodoo grouping was definitely a treat with many other possible climbs besides these classics. There are a few very large Pinyon trees still thriving in this unique area. Looking forward to getting back up there with a climbing partner! |
