8:40 start. Took the loop CCW from the Wind Cave TH.

From the SE corner of the loop to the pass, flies and gnats, mostly gnats, kept my hands in windshield wiper motion. A nice breeze kept them down for most of the remainder of the hike. The saguaros are looking good. Lots of blooms.

Less than 10 people on the loop trail today.
