| no partners | | | Did this walk with Ed starting around 3:30 pm. The weather was pretty nice. We saw some boaters on the Southwest side of the peninsula and chatted for a bit. We also found a walnut tree near the shore and picked a few. The nuts were not completely ripe but tasted OK. I forgot how much the walnut fruit stains the hands. I think I washed my hands 5-6 times since then and they are still not clean.... After the hike, we met my Dad at the Beach House restaurant nearby and had dinner. I had the grilled reuben sandwich with fries and it was absolutely fantastic!! |
