| partners | | This was hike 3 of the day while in the area. Checked out the ruins circa 1880. These housed railway workers building the bridge over Canyon Diablo.
Takeaways were the unusual 20' x 40' x 15' deep dome feature in the large ruins as well as the 100's of old rusted cans scattered around.
There was a train parked in the area with lots-o-no trespassing signs, so I did not get very good photos of the iconic bridge over the canyon.
A late lunch at La Posada in Winslow after the hikes. |
