Peak 3845 has caught my eye a few times over the past couple of months so I decided to see how accessible it is. Turns out it is very accessible. This is a quick turn off on the Balanced Rock to 5057 use trail.

I picked a friendly looking scramble on the left side of the rock cluster and grabbed the peak that way. Not really any exposure here. Not any difficult scrambling. From here you have a top down view of Chuparosa canyon and west side spire. Across is 3915 and all the way up is 5057. Fantastic views that direction. I went down as far as I could southwest and looked down on the Hiero Trail.

On my way back I went down and checked out the top of Chuparosa from a few different angles. I spotted what looks like a rock wall on the upper part of the canyon? I have a photo in the photoset with a red marker designating it. It could just be a pile of rocks but it looked a bit off. I still haven't been all the way down or all the way up Chuparosa to connect it all. There is one spot I am not crazy about. Eventually it will get done.

After all that, I retraced some steps and wandered a bit. On the way down I met a couple of hikers checking out Balanced Rock. They were headed to 5057. Didn't see anyone else until I hit Hiero again.

Great day.
