Tuesday hike in the snow. It wasn't cold, which was good because I don't have winter clothes. Started the hike around 40F. Ended the hike @ 64F. Temperatures fluctuated often from cool to warm. The snow deepened as we ventured up toward the summit. Lots of ladybugs at the peak. I didn't know ladybugs were winter insects.

Linda and I saw a red crossbill. I've only seen one before. It was high up and wasn't able to get a good photo of it. Wildlife was minimal. It was a fun and challenging hike.
