I made it to the Top of Skull Mesa in 2hrs 18 mins. The views were great. I explored ( down climbing and climbing back up) different parts of the mesa. I saw some glyphs. I ran out of time to go to the ruins. I was probably less than a mile from them. Next time, I plan on doing a loop (247 -248) and the ruins for a total of about 23 miles. I drank over 8 pounds of water. The mesa top was muddy and some spots were crusted with ice.
