I met Dave and Denny at 9am. Oh wait Denny was the smart one who opted out. Dave and I hiked to the TH because the road was too muddy. The hike to the TH was a little less than 5 miles. At times I had more weight on my shoes than Te-wa's pack. The mud just stuck and kept accumulating. After about a 1/4 mile on the trail, it started to pour and being the smart guys we are we knew someone would be in need of are help so we headed back. About a mile and a half from my truck, we found the people in need. Dave grabbed one side of the truck, and I the other and we lifted them to safety(or something like that). The women called us angels and I though of how my mom called me an angel. You sleep like an angel its the awake part you need to work on. I will try this one again. Time includes 31 minutes of breaks and are heroic moment. :)
