Superb return tramp to Marahau from Anchorage after the one-way Tasman Bay sea kayak. High quality track through dense forests, dry hillsides, bridged side drainages, and tidal marshes with a few scenic overlooks and accesses to the numerous beach coves. A better return option IMHO, besides paying for a quicker water taxi.
