| no partners | | I did 5 laps here up and down the Texas Eastern Pipeline right of way, or trail. Not sure how I feel about this. I hoped I would enjoy it enough that I would come here often. After a visit, I am thinking it would be once in a while. Maybe. At least I got some much needed AEG!
It wasn't that hot, but it was extremely humid. This was despite today supposedly being a dry day. Also, while I did not see ticks, poison ivy was really bad in many locations. It hides in thickets and the grass, and forms massive trees, too.
NJ just isn't my thing. I left in 2001 for a reason, after over 12 years since I had last been here, I am remembering more and more, why. Like a bad ex you broke up with, and decided to try again, once you do, you remembered why you broke up. Probably should have had a trial period before I married her.
People were friendly here, though. I think, if I was local, I would be out here doing a couple of laps on this once or twice a week. The fairly long drive and traffic around Princeton was also an issue. I don't know, but I suspect this place is very busy on a weekend. There were many people out today, too. |
