Turned out that Elden wasn't my last hike in state. I delayed a couple of days and hiked Wilson. I went to both overlooks, but skipped the rocky summit. Lots of people out but it was still really nice. The metal locker is long gone, no more free MREs. Wilson is one of those classic Arizona hikes. A great one to hike.
