| no partners | | Took advantage of the cooler than normal temperatures for one more Window Peak summit. No complaints about that, as I used far less water. It must have been appealing to a lot of people, as I had 5 other people come up to the summit while I was on top. I've never had that before, here.
Lots of flowing water in the canyon. It drowns out any birds, but some people love water. A few hawks were riding the thermals along the ridge.
Good air quality. I think I could see the Bradshaws, in addition to the usual summits visible from Window. Good hike, great summit, but I'm always glad to be done when I am, as this is a rough hike. |
