The mornings are still nice enough for an early hike. I was in shade a good part of the ascent. A fair breeze helped when I wasn’t in shade. It was lovely at the saddle, so I went out to the Lone Pine for some extra steps. Not many people out. A few heading up as I was finishing. It was getting toasty at the end.
