| partners | | Day 1 of 9 in Northern Michigan and the Upper Peninsula. After a 6 hour drive to the town of Christmas Michigan, setting up at the Bay Furnace Campground, we took a little stroll around to check things out.
The furnace has been recently stabilized. This is where pig iron was made between 1870 and 1877. It's one of the last remaining structures of its kind in the Upper Peninsula. We caught a bit of the Northern Lights, but needed to stay up later to see them better. |
