| no partners | | | A trip Whitlow Canyon and a side Canyon to look for petroglyphs. After locating some graffiti petroglyphs we heard barking dogs. The dogs kept barking for well over 15 minutes so we changed plans from going farther down canyon and see what they were barking at. As we approached the hill the dogs were on I looked up and saw some petroglyphs. No that wasn't why the dogs were barking. The dogs had pinned a javelina down in the rocks. It was starting to warm up so Steve gave the dogs some water and we headed out. Steve stopped at the fire station in Queen Valley to let them know where the dogs were since they probably belonged to someone near by. Then it was off to lunch at Dirtwater Springs. |
