Headed out toward Hieroglyph trailhead to hike the crosscut trail. The trail access is closed but it's outside the Tonto National Forest so was hoping the closure would be farther up Hieroglyphic trail. May try going in from Peralta road during the week. Plan B was Bulldog Saddle and decided tp loop from there. Started a little later because of the detour but still had shade most of the way. Saw a mule deer and two fawns. A lot of other hikers out but none on the backside of the loop.
