As indicated by the stats, there is not a lot of elevation change as this portion of Moby Trail traverses the south flank of Mt. Francis. Moby Trail can be part of a 6 mile loop using East Copper Trail and Aspen Creek Trail #48. On May 3, 2025, this route was part of a 10 mile hike that included all of East Copper Trail for an AEG of nearly 2,000 feet. The 6 mile loop is much easier, but requires driving a few miles on a dirt road to reach the Aspen Creek Trailhead on Copper Basin Road west of Prescott, AZ. |
