| no partners | | Written 5-10-2025. Part 3 of Day One in Page. We saw this trailhead while driving and thought we'd check it out. We had finished the Beehive Trail (New Wave), stopped at the Dam Bridge and then pulled into the Trailhead lot. There was only one other vehicle.
It was a lovely afternoon already and this would be a great end to our hiking/touring day. We started around 3PM with a nice 50 degree temp and 41% humidity. It's a nice lesiurely walk and gawk hike until you round the corner and head up the sandy hill to the Hanging Garden. There are views in all directions and we only saw two other folks on the trail in the distance. It definitely goes from an almost empty desert to a garden-like area, even for as dry as it has been.
We wandered around the area and checked out the alcove-like area. Jaelyn did her usual goat routine and climbed higher above. I did my usual zooming and wow, did I get some cool shots. But then, when I do the video, I end up spending hours trying to figure out where I was looking; especially since it's been five months. Anyway, I saw some really cool formations; surreal looking.
After finishing we completed our hike back to the trailhead. It's definitely a fun little hike that almost anyone can do I think. We completed our day with drinks and dinner at Grand Canyon Brewing.
