It will have been one year this coming July'25 since I have visited one of my most favorite places to be in our Coconino NF- Mogollon Rim.

For this very enjoyable but short 3.5-hour visit, with a 7-hour (roundtrip) drive to be at 7435ft elevation in June, I was very pleased to have my good friend and our HAZ-Trishness join me. Trish wanted to plan one of her special Mexican meals for our picnic lunch and did she ever come through!

A good day it was with a high temp of only 80F at 7435ft elevation, the Rim Road (FR300) being in the best driving condition I have ever seen it for the ~16.5 miles in I drove, and of course good company and conversation.
