Did this today with Stiller, sarichter, and my buddy John from Tucson. What a butt-kicker. It took me 3 hours 40 min to summit, and 3 hours 45 min to get down. Finger Rock Canyon is possibly the prettiest canyon in the Catalinas, and it didn't disappoint today. The ocotillos were blooming, and there were even a few wildflowers. The Emory oaks look to be a few weeks behind those in the Mazatzals in terms of their leaves changing to gold.
