My climbing buddy Phil is back in town for a little while, so it's time to go hiking in Pusch Ridge. Climbed Mt. Kimball today, first time here in a while for me. This is one of the steeper canyons in Pusch Ridge and the way down remains just a brutal butt-kicker. The views from the top completely rock.

It was windy and pretty cold up on the peak, warmed up big time on the way down.

Finally saw a tarantula...for the first time in nearly 2000 miles in Arizona. How cool!

Tough, tough hike. It's time to get my legs back because the plan is to climb Mt. Lemmon again before he leaves. I swore I'd never do that again after the first time....I knew I was full of it. :twisted:
