| no partners | | My doctors finally gave me the green light to get off pavement and hike some trails as long as a have someone with me in case of a fall. I guess the surgeon doesn't want me to screw up his fine work on my back.
I couldn't think of a soul that I would torture with a hike this slow so I went alone and was extra careful with my foot placement. My knee actually gave me more trouble than my back...go figure. Time for another shot of cortisone or gel. I did wear a bright red tee shirt to make it easier for SAR to find my body in case I did go down.
The weather was beautiful, the creek was flowing, and all the other hikers I saw said "hello" back to me on the trail. A banner day. |
