My first off pavement hike since back surgery #2. I had planned to not wear my back brace but my spine had other plans. The P.A. Seitts Preserve is close to home and fairly flat with decent tread so it was a good choice. It felt great to be outdoors and wandering in the desert. The creek was running even this far south which was a bonus for the eyes and ears.

I made the small climb up the Overlook Trail which was one of Cathy's favorite spots. Lots of green!
Just a handful of hikers seen plus two doggos and two mountain bikers. Beautiful weather.
I forgot to put my phone in airplane mode so AEG is an educated guess from previous hikes.

Cottonwoods along the creek are starting to turn. Probably two to three weeks till prime.
