I saw a place called Burro Basin on the map and I needed to go there. I was hiking up the Dutchman trail and I could see headlamp lights ahead. I hiked at a moderate pace and didn't seem to be catching them.

The trail going down to adjacent to Barkley Basin first light hit. The hikers ahead looked familiar. Sure enough it was Kelly & Linda. We were going the same way for a while so we caught on nothing important until I turned off for Burro Basin.

The side Canyon up to Burro Basin was open and easy. There was nothing really special found but a cool little waterfall and pool in the reed rock was a surprise. I should have kept going up the canyon but I veered off up to a cliff base to find nothing.

It was nice day in the supes and nice to hike with Kelly & Linda again for a bit. The little side canyon and it's tributaries may deserve a second look someday.
