| no partners | | after a little group chat about south mountain lookouts and landmarks, decided to visit a couple of them
john and i followed one of @lindaann's track a couple years ago but from geronimo
think @chumley did a similar hike very recently from telegraph
today set out on kiwanis around 0815, then north and east on national to a turnoff
went to the old kiwanis lookout via an old trail, took some photos and returned on a service road
when john and i were there, we walked by a city worker hiding/sleeping at the turnaround 
next, east on the summit road, then a short use trail north to one of the ccc buildings
back on the road, national and kiwanis
both landmarks are visible from the road
off the beaten path and interesting destinations
fun hike
