i've always liked holbert trail
do not care for the reroute
took off from mineral and 7th street around 0700
holbert to dobbins lookout
crossed paths with about 60 firefighters and recruits

further on holbert to the road, then east to the turnoff to old holbert lookout
easy walking on an old roadbed
took a few photos and climbed the boulder stack
returned on a use trail down a drainage which was shorter
i've done that before but next time would just go back to the road for the mileage
this concludes lookout/landmark week
had fun doing another slightly different combo
still cool when i finished
