| no partners | | Great time.. We Hiked up See Canyon and camped at Bear Canyon Lake and then hiked back down See Canyon on day 2.
See Canyon has a few areas where you have to watch for the Cairns and markers.. One point along the trail we spent about 45 minutes looking for the next marker.. The story goes like this.. We did the normal thing.. looking for the next cairn and sure enough found it and then we found a metal marker on a tree and then there was nothing! Well it turns out that the marker on the tree was crazy so we reluctantly backtracked one marker at a time until it all made sense.. wasted about 45 minutes and drained everyone's energy.
It was great meeting Mike, Steven & Bob at the top.. HAZ's finest!
On our way down, we got rained on but it was wonderful.. a perfect rain for a perfect hike |
