made the trip from the bottom trailhead to Bear Canyon lake to camp and fish.
walking fr208 is about 2 miles from fr300 to the lake but its flat walking. the last 1/4 mile down to the lake is steep but short. many fishers out this weekend. after dusk we had the lake to ourselves and heard no noise from wildlife or Wildlife.
this was my son's first backpack.
