| no partners | | | Made my first trip out to Josephine Canyon as part of a reverse lasso loop involving Old Baldy up and Super Trail down from Josephine Saddle. On my way down the canyon it was fine. On the way back up, the hiking magic kicked in. Every warm breeze had the scent of pine and a butterfly. There were jays and deer everywhere. Heck, I even saw the ol' turkey gang way out on Josephine Canyon trail. It was one of those times when you feel the trail was made just for you. |
