The “trail” is not too bad initially. There is actually a Greenbelt adjacent to the eastern side of the canal. The Greenbelt stopped shortly after Indian School, but there was still a lighted paved path all the way up to 47th Ave. There were imprinted road crossings and .25 mile markers on the sidewalk. (The mile markers never counted up, but it would let you know that you had gone .25 miles). After 47th Ave, it became a graveled road on either side of the canal. Decent number of walkers, joggers, bikers and homeless people. |
