| no partners | | After completing the Grandview Trail - Cave of the Domes, I had to actually find the Cave of the Domes geocache, so off to the Grandview Tower where I hiked the Vishnu trail out to the Vishnu Overlook, then took the return where the trail picked up the AZT and finished back at the tower. Somewhere along the way (at the loop junction), I went off the trail a bit and found the cache (I deleted that part of the route).
The Vishnu trail is signed and marked and makes a nice walk. The trail starts under the tower. It is well marked with trail signs and cairns. The tread is reasonably good the whole way and is an easy grade throughout. Something that was appreciated after my slog up the Grandview Trail.
Once I found the cache, I had a beer on the way back to my truck. It was about the perfect 12oz distance.  |
