I hadn't hiked the complete Cave Trail in over twenty years and forgot how nice it was to overlook Peralta Canyon, The Nosepicker Pinnacles and Zonerland. It was a breezy and peaceful morning in the shade of the Lone Pine. Not many good water sources remain and what's left is mostly getting algae skunky. Very warm again descending Bluff Springs to the trailhead.

The section of this route near the Dutchman Trail was a crappy bushwhack, but the canyon itself had some very nice areas. Still more water than expected with many tadpoles and frogs. To the young group of backpackers who had a small fire under the Lone Pine. You can do better!

After climbing Celestial Crack, we hiked over to Wild Horse Wall and climbed Gunfight at Hueco Corral, Mexican Tornado, Misfire, Ricochet and Snakevenom Slug.
