What a nice hike, parking is a little weird since there is not an official place to do it. I parked right next to the trailhead sign in a little dirt lot. Walking through the Boy Scouts area is a little funky too, but once you get up the hill it is wonderful.

I think we were the only idiots to try this on a rainy day! Nice all the way up and then started sprinkling on the way down, I was a little worried about it being slick but it was fine. I left Capt. Hook up at the mailbox and then we had some delicious pie at Los Hermanos in Superior.

Don't think we made it all the way, but boy was the desert lush and beautiful! Tons of water and mud, saw Battleship Mtn. in the distance. Would like to make it out there someday.

Excellent day out at Peralta. Hiked out to the pine tree overlooking the Needle, it was really muddy out here.

Very nice day for a hike, with lots of clouds. Very nice petroglyphs at the end with quite a bit of water. Some of the waterholes were several feet deep!

Made it out to Superior on a great Saturday morning with light rain and clouds. Great hike with everything you could want, climbing, bouldering and more. A couple of sections are a little hairy, but doable for most. Ran into Steven and WhereIRoam at the top. Great views in every direction and an interesting mailbox(Check out the history of the mailbox stamped inside!). Coming back down definitely harder than going up. Got a handful of cholla and buddy did a header into an agave, a little banged up but had a great time.

Started this hike late in the afternoon and got to watch the sun go down. Some small hills in the beginning and then lots of downhill. Beautiful country as always and ran in to what I think were Desert Fox up near the top. Got a little nippy as the sun went down, had to put on a fleece. Added a mile to the end of this hike, walked out in the dark.

First hike in Usery Park and it was very nice. I couldn't have asked for better weather, trail was a little congested but fine. Followed a troop of Boy Scouts up part of the way, made me feel like I was a kid again. Would love to do this more often, but the $5 to get in is kind of a bummer. Fun hike for a quick workout.

This is the Classic Phoenix city hike. Busy as always, but a great time of year to do this one. I only wish I lived a little closer, I would do this every morning.
