| no partners | | This hike took a long time, 9 hours, but we sat at the ruins for about an hour and then explored the cave for a couple of hours. We got to the trailhead at 11am and back to the truck at 8pm.
If you leave the camping spot up river there's a sign that says entering national wilderness or something to that effect. There's a trail there that takes you all the way to the first waterfall. There are a lot of cairns, but in some spots the trail is hard to find, if it looks like it goes up the hill, it probably does. There are some steep climbs and slippery dirt/rocks, but it's easier than bushwacking along the creek.
The ruins were amazing and the cave was awesome as well. |
